Where To Vote

Voting begins on October 19th and ends on Election Day, November 6th, at 8:00 p.m. Check below or the calendar in this section for a list of important dates and deadlines you need to know to make sure your voice is heard.


Friday, October 19
Start of the 18-day voting period. Ballots are mailed out and Accessible Voting Units (AVUs) are available at voting centers.

Thursday, October 25
Expect delivery of your ballot by this date. If you are registered to vote in Washington and have not received your ballot by October 25, contact your county auditor’s office.

Monday October 29
Deadline for in-person new Washington State voter registration. Please note: the deadline for online or mail-in voter registration already passed on October 8th. October 29th is the last day to register or change your address, but you must do so in person.

Monday, November 5
If you are returning your ballot by mail, place it in a mailbox by November 5 to ensure that it is postmarked by Election Day and that your vote is counted.

Tuesday, November 6
Election Day — drop boxes close promptly at 8:00 p.m.
